Why choose a trail at Moulin Des Pionniers De La Doré?
The trail passes through a forest of conifers and partly along the Salmon River that will cross through a gateway. A gazebo overlooks the river, the rolling terrain and the site of Pioneer Mill where we can see several infrastructure as the home of Mary and the logging camp. The mill burned down in 1899, but was immediately rebuilt. We can see a small waterfall that does not freeze completely.Trail maps

A great activity for those who want to learn more about the traditional methods of wood cutting in the region, an important part of our culture. However, it can be a bit short if you travel a long distance just for this place.
