One of my favorite hikes! Going through the expert, there is a good challenge with very steep climbs and ropes. I strongly recommend going to the far left of the summit where the 360 view is more than splendid!

Why visit Morrios Mount

Hiking is not the only activity you can do at Mont de Morios. Here nature is so beautiful that it would be a shame not to enjoy it! You can for example practice other sports activities, such as:

- Alpine skiing

- Ski touring

- Canoeing and kayaking

- Skating

- ...and much more besides

By the way, in the nearby town of Saint-Aimé-des-Lacs there is the Parc National des Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie. It is a very large park where the variety of landscapes alternates with spectacular speed: high plateaus, glacial valleys and waterfalls. Here you can practice sports all year round and immerse yourself completely in the wilderness by walking, biking or kayaking through it.

And the activities that you can do at the Mount of Morios do not stop there: you can also admire the panoramic view of the mountain by taking a mini cruise on a bateau-mouche, discovering the flora and fauna of these magnificent places.

Things not to be missed

A real stay at the Mont des Morios cannot be considered as such without tasting some specialties in the small local restaurants. Here the traditional rustic mountain menu joins with today's modernity.

In the town of Saint-Urbain there is for example the Casse-CroΓ»te La Rencontre, a nice dairy bar where you can try some very good meat and salmon pΓ’tΓ©s, as well as the best French fries in the whole region.

If you are looking for a typical mountain accommodation, here you could rent a room at Le Pigeonnier du Lac. It is a nice pavilion with three rooms, each with its own toilet. In addition, here you have exclusive access to the spa, which is located about 100 feet from the pavilion.

At the aforementioned Parc National des Hautes Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie there is finally the possibility to go camping. The Park has several areas equipped with all the services you need and ready to camp for all those who want to enjoy nature with comfort.
