Why hike at Gothics, New York ?

Gothics is the 10th highest peak in New York State. It is known for magnificent views and is the highest peak in the Lower Great Range. Gothics can be hiked in combination with various other neighboring peaks. It is not uncommon to hike Gothics along with Sawteeth and/or Armstrong Mountain and Upper Wolf Jaw (and potentially Lower Wolf Jaw). Another popular destination very close to Gothics is Pyramid Peak - too close to be considered its own peak, but widely considered one of the best views in the High Peaks. Several trails and trailheads allow access to Gothics.
