In 2001, ownership of grouse mountain Resort passed from the provincial government to Millennium Resorts Ltd. A new lodge was built in 2004, and a new gondola was installed in 2006. In 2009, ownership of grouse mountain Resort passed from Millennium Resorts Ltd. to Intrawest ULC.
