Why choose a trail at Carleton-maria?

Located in the heart of Chaleur Bay region, the town of Carleton and the municipality of Maria invite you to discover a spectacular environment bursting with natural beauty and attractions of all kinds. Our 30 km (19 mi.) network of hiking trails offers breathtaking views of Chaleur Bay as well as the GaspΓ©sie and New Brunswick coasts. Our trails vary in difficulty from easy (suitable for the whole family) to intermediate. A dozen safe, linked paths with numerous bridges and viewpoints will take you to the summits of Mt. Saint-Joseph (555 m or 1820 ft.) and Mt. Carleton (613 m or 2010 ft.).
