It was in 1950 that Fritz Werner Von Allmen and his wife, originating in Mürren in Switzerland, settled on the site. This wooded, located between the North River and the Ottawa River, is now managed by the municipality of Saint-André d'Argenteuil. From the parking lot, a path through the marsh and a silver maple and joins an observation tower overlooking the North River. It is possible to observe several species of birds.
