Why choose a trail at Parc Régional Obalski?

This park, located south of Chibougamau, has two major objectives: to promote recreational activities in the natural environment and enable the conservation of fauna and flora. In 1991, the first trail near Lake Gilman born. Today, in addition to the original path, the snowshoe trails wind through the boreal forest along the Little Lake Gilman and climb several peaks. Mount Helios, named after the Greek god of the sun, offers views of the city and Lake Chibougamau.
