Mount Ishbel is a mountain peak in Alberta, Canada. The peak is located in the Sawback Range in Alberta's Rockies, north of the Bow Valley Parkway and east of Johnston Canyon. It was named in 1956 after Ishbel MacDonald was the eldest daughter of Prime Minister Ramsay MacDonald of Great Britain. It gives the name to the Ishbel Group, a stratigraphical unit of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin.The Mount Ishbel is a mountain located in Alberta, Canada. It is part of the Canadian Rockies, and is situated in the Yoho National Park. The mountain is named after Lady Ishbel Gordon, the wife of the Marquess of Aberdeen and Temair. The mountain was first ascended by J. Norman Collie and James Outram in 1894. The summit of the mountain is at an elevation of 3,618 metres (11,859 ft).
