The Gargoyle Mountain is located in the Kananaskis Country of Alberta. To get to the start of the trails, take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 west to the exit for Highway 40. Take Highway 40 south and turn left onto the Kananaskis Lakes Trail. The trailhead is located about 9 km down the trail.
