Starting Point
The Mt Adams trails are located in the town of New York, New York. To get to the start of the trails, take exit 16 from the New York State Thruway and head north on Route 22. The trailhead is located on the left side of the road.
The Mt Adams trailhead is located on the east side of the mountain, near the hamlet of Upper Works. To get there, take NY-28 north from Keene Valley for about 16 miles. The trailhead will be on the left side of the road.
