Tips for Your Adventure

  • Plan Ahead: Check weather conditions before heading out and ensure you have appropriate gear. NOAA provides reliable forecasts for Essex County.
  • Stay Safe: Always carry a map or GPS device as cell service can be spotty. Knowing your longitude can help navigate these remote areas effectively.
  • Leave No Trace: Help preserve the natural beauty by packing out all trash and respecting wildlife.
  • Hydrate & Snack: Bring plenty of water and snacks to keep your energy up during the hike.
