Le Parc des Pionniers de la Lanaudière is located in Saint-Jacques-de-Leeds, in the heart of the Lanaudière tourist region. This beautiful park offers a host of activities for families and nature lovers.

There is a landscaped beach with water games, a soccer field, a volleyball court and a picnic area. The more active can enjoy the walking trail that winds through the park, or hit the bike trails that connect St. Jacques de Leeds to several nearby villages.

Outdoors enthusiasts can also canoe, kayak or raft on the Ouareau River, which runs through the park. For those who prefer to rest, benches and lounge chairs have been set up throughout to enjoy the scenery.

Pioneer Park is also a great place to observe wildlife. There is a vast expanse of mature trees, as well as a multitude of birds and wildlife.

Beautiful to look at . Today a bit cool for swimming. How ever there's a couple who still went in. Party boat , sailing , Jet ski. Picnicking, fishing. Nice Toilets.
