The trailhead for the J-p Rolland Fortin Trail is located in the municipality of La Sarre, Abitibi-Témiscamingue. To get there, go to the intersection of Highway 117 and Highway 381, about 10 kilometers south of La Sarre. The trailhead is on the right, just after the bridge over the Harricana River.
