Starting Point

To get there from Ville-Marie, you need to  take Highway 101 south for about 5km. Then turn right onto Chemin du Vieux-Fort and then follow the signs.

Note that several free parking lots are available on site.

Things not to be missed

The Bannik site offers a beautiful trail for hiking lovers.

The trail occupies about 70 hectares and crosses the entire mountain. But not only that! It also passes through pine, red spruce, fir and cedar forests.

Please note that there are two viewing sites, one with a view of Lake Timiskaming and the other in part of West Duhamel.

Several other observation points are easily accessible from this same trail.

You can also reach the Laperriere Marsh Trail via the marked 2 km trail from Lot 76 at La Bannik Campground. The trails are marked with yellow signs to guide you.

You should know that La Bannik offers accommodation on site. So you can rent cottages and campings. This is the closest and quietest place to be able to relax.

Camping La Bannik is attached to the tourist complex La Bannik, with more than 96 pitches where you can enjoy two or three essential services to your accommodation.

Outdoor camping enthusiasts will also find something for them to enjoy their favorite pastimes. Various pitches are specially designed for them.
