Why choose a trail at Sentier de l'eau-de-là?
This trail, a collaboration between Forêt Québec, the Société d'Exploitation Woodland Témiscamingue and owns, Denis Carrier, was arranged to mark the International Year of Forests in 2011. He started in front of the rest area of Notre-Dame-du-Nord, where you will be a point overlooking Lake Timiskaming, and leads to the shore. Two footbridges throughout the trip. Twenty interpretive signs deal with the geology, flora and fauna, as well as the history of occupancy and the legacy of the pioneers in the region. In addition to many types of plants will be observed fragments of an ancient meteorite came from "Water-to-there" and fossils dating back 400 million years.
