The Vanoise National Park is located in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, straddling the departments of Savoie and Haute-Savoie. It is the oldest French national park, created in 1963. It covers an area of 1,350 km² and has more than 100,000 inhabitants.

The Vanoise National Park is a protected natural area that includes a wide variety of landscapes and animal and plant species. These include glaciers, forests, lakes and mountains. The park is also a place for skiing and snowboarding.
