Why hike at Culham Trail ?

Culham railway station is a railway station serving the village of Culham in Oxfordshire, England. It is served by local train services provided by First Great Western. The station is just off the A415 road, between the villages of Culham and Clifton Hampden. The station is close to the site of RNAS Culham (HMS Hornbill), a World War II airfield. The former airfield is now the Culham Science Centre, an 80 hectares (200 acres) scientific research site and home to two nuclear fusion experiments JET and MAST. The START Nuclear Fusion Experiment was also conducted on the site until MAST succeeded it in 1999. This important scientific centre means the station creates a valid commuter service.

The culham trail is a beautiful, paved trail that follows the former rail line between the towns of Culham and Almonte in Ontario. The trail is perfect for a leisurely stroll, a scenic bike ride, or a brisk walk, and it's great for all ages and abilities. The trail is well-maintained and easy to navigate, and it's lined with beautiful trees and wildlife. There are several small bridges and crossings along the way, as well as a few benches where you can take a break and enjoy the view. The culham trail is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or a morning, and it's a great way to get some exercise and enjoy nature.
