The Nature Park of the Ile-de-la-Visitation is a large park located in Montreal , in Ahuntsic-Cartierville and Montreal North . In part the island of Visitation, the old hydraulic installations, now abandoned, Horse Island-to-Earth, connected to Laval in the central of the Rivière-des-Prairies and a wooded left naturally along the Rivière des Prairies . The park was established in 1984 during the renovation of the spillway of the Rivière des Prairies generating station . It has an area of 34 hectares
