Starting Point

Public Transportation:

From Montmorency metro, take bus 65 and then get off at the corner of de la Renaissance and Marc-Aurèle-Fortin avenues. From there, you must take the 73 Fabreville bus towards Cartier metro. Then you have to get off at the corner of Sainte-Rose and Longpré boulevards.

From the Laurentian Autoroute (15), take exit 16 and then take Sainte-Rose Boulevard east. The Parc de la Rivière-des-Mille-Îles is located 700 meters further, at #345.

A second access is located in the Berge des Baigneurs sector, at 13 Hotte Street.

Access to the trails is also available from Rosemere, in the Tylee Swamp area, at 202 on Grande-Côte Road.

Things not to be missed

Le Hibou Trail and snowshoes face Gagnon Island and stretch along the coast.

Bird feeders are installed there. Watch out for. You may see chickadees, redpolls or finches there.

On the trails of Strawberry Island and Jewish Island, you may encounter several other birds, including woodpeckers.

The occasional animal, such as spotted owls, may also surprise hikers who take the time to look carefully.

The loop through two wooded islands on the Le Lièvre Trail stretches for nearly four kilometers. A marked ice trail takes us there on foot or snowshoes.

Where to sleep?

You are looking for accommodations to spend the night. You should know that there are all kinds of accommodations: cottages, rustic campsites, cottages, cabins, etc.

However, we're thinking of you and have done several searches to list the best shelters for you!

Our favorite:

●     Bertrand's bungalow :

Located just 12 minutes from the Thousand Islands River Park, this bungalow is perfect for 6 people! It is 200 meters from the Thousand Islands River. This means you can enjoy the nature and beaches that are nearby!
