The Marie-Victorin Park is a botanical garden located in the region of Centre-du-QuΓ©bec , in Quebec , in the city of Kingsey Falls . It was founded in 1985 to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the botanist Conrad Kirouac, better known under the name of Brother Marie-Victorin , who was from Kingsey Falls . This is a non-profit organization that is recognized in the region for its mosaicultures. This park covers 29 acres in all. The Parc Marie-Victorin in 2010 also became the first tourist garden to get the highest distinction of the "ICI ON RECYCLE! " 1 for its efforts to educate its visitors and employees to the valuation of potentially recoverable material.
