Starting Point

The starting point for all of the Resort's trails is located near the front desk and the inn.

Why visit Station Touristique Duchesnay

Beyond hiking, there's never a dull moment at Duchesnay Station, which is packed with activities for all ages and desires!

The brand new water sports center allows visitors to enjoy Lake St. Joseph for swimming or water activities such as kayaking, canoeing or stand-up paddle boarding; swimming is also available in the indoor pool.

As for the more adventurous, they can venture into the wooden labyrinth or enjoy a circuit of five aerial courses in the trees.

It is also possible to observe the local wildlife including the black bear, where the youngest will be able to enjoy game modules or independent activities such as the Animal Rally.

In winter, these activities give way to others such as skating, ice fishing, sledding, snowmobiling, skiing or even dog sledding.

Things not to be missed

Duchesnay Station offers visitors a wide variety of accommodations: it is possible to stay at the Duchesnay Inn, in the 3 nearby pavilions, in one of the chalets or in the shelters.

These 14 modern cottages are perfect for visitors looking to recharge their batteries in the heart of nature: they are all equipped with a kitchen area, internet access, cable TV, an outdoor living area and have between 2 and 4 bedrooms. Little extra: access to equipment rental and the sandy areas of the park!

Auberge Duchesnay, inside the park

This 4-star country-style accommodation has a great comfort and warm atmosphere: the 48 rooms of one all equipped with a private bathroom, internet access, television with cables and the accommodation includes a multitude of services. Among others, heated pool, sauna, game room, beach or equipment loan, enough to make the most of your stay!

Where to eat?

Within the Duchesnay Inn, the Station offers an excellent dining spot: the Bistro-bar Le Quatre-Temps, overlooking Lake Saint-Joseph, where chef Sébastien Rivard offers a bistro menu featuring Canadian terroir. On the menu: fish, game, cheese, meat and a varied wine list, all to be enjoyed on the terrace for about $43.

During the ski season, Horizon Lodge also opens a snack bar, offering a simple on-the-spot but delicious formula to visitors.
