Why choose a trail at Sentier du Cabouron de Saint-Germain?

This trail, located in Saint-Germain, is part of Monadnocks circuit, itself integrated with the future pedestrian network Transkamouraska. It winds on the mountain of Cabourons through a boreal forest. On the rocky area at the top, there is a jack pine forest aged about 75 years. Pushing on the rock, their growth is difficult and they look like bonsai. A gazebo offers a panorama on the flats, the River and the mountains of Charlevoix.
