Where to eat?

1. The Kettle Valley Railway Trestle - This is a hidden gem located in Myra Canyon just east of Kelowna. It's an old railway trestle that has been turned into a pedestrian walkway with amazing views of the valley below. There are a few restaurants and cafes along the way, but our favourite is the Kettle Valley Tea House which serves up fresh sandwiches, salads, soups and desserts.

2. The Boathouse at Okanagan Lake - This is another hidden gem located on the north side of Okanagan Lake. It's a beautiful spot right on the water with a large deck overlooking the lake. They serve up fresh seafood dishes as well as burgers and sandwiches.

3. The Quails' Gate Winery Estate - This is a beautiful winery estate located in West Kelowna. They have a large patio area where you can enjoy a glass of wine or a meal from their restaurant. They serve up a variety of dishes including pizzas, salads, pastas and desserts.

4. The Old Spaghetti Factory - This is a chain restaurant, but it's one of our favourites because of the unique decor and atmosphere. It's located in downtown Kelowna and it's always busy so be prepared to wait for a table. They serve up classic Italian dishes like spaghetti, lasagna and pizza.

5. The Keg Steakhouse & Bar - This is another chain restaurant, but it's one of our favourites because of the high quality steaks they serve up. It's located in downtown Kelowna and it's always busy so be prepared to wait for a table. They also have a large selection of cocktails and beers.
